Abstract
La presente invención se refiere de manera general a un proceso que prepara polietilenos, poli-a-olefinas o poli(coetileno-a-olefi na) que tienen pesos moleculares promedio en peso del esqueleto menores a 2500 daltons. El proceso utiliza un complejo de metal-ligando como un precatalizador, y se puede llevar a cabo a temperaturas que fluctúan de 30°C a 300°C. El peso molecular relativamente bajo de los productos permite un control de viscosidad mejorado para un amplio rango de aplicaciones.
