Abstract
En algunas modalidades, un aparato puede configurarse para detectar uso de gas. El aparato puede incluir: (a) un módulo de procesamiento configurado para ejecutarse en una unidad computacional; y (b) una unidad de detección configurada para acoplarse a un regulador de gas, la unidad de detección tiene: (1) por lo menos un sensor acústico configurado para detectar dos o más señales acústicas producidas por el regulador de gas y convertir las dos o más señales acústicas en una o más primeras señales de datos; y (2) un transmisor acoplado eléctricamente por lo menos a un sensor acústico y configurado para transmitir una o más primeras señales de datos a la unidad computacional. El módulo de procesamiento se configura para utilizar una o más primeras señales de datos para determinar el uso de gas. Se describen otras modalidades.
