Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a composiciones y métodos para producir plantas de cultivo que son resistentes a herbicidas. En particular, la presente invención proporciona plantas de trigo, tejidos de planta y semillas de planta que contienen genes y proteínas acetil-CoA carboxilasa (ACCasa) alterados que son resistentes a la inhibición por herbicidas que normalmente inhiben la actividad de la proteína ACCasa.
