Abstract

La invención se refiere a un dispositivo (100) para enfriar la abertura de un horno giratorio por medio de soplado de aire frío, dicho horno comprende un cilindro de metal (3) que está forrado internamente con un material refractario (73) y está montado giratoriamente con relación al bastidor del horno, dentro del cual se pretenden introducir y quemar los materiales; el dispositivo de enfriamiento (100) comprende: el cilindro (3) antes mencionado del horno giratorio y una parte extrema (4) del cilindro de metal cubierta con un material refractario (74) y asegurada al cilindro (3); dos cubiertas metálicas concéntricas (5, 6), conocidas como la cubierta interior (5) y la cubierta exterior (6), que rodean al cilindro (3) del horno (2) y forman dos canales anulares (50, 60); y medios de ventilación que permiten que fluya el aire frío a través de dichos canales anulares (50, 60); de acuerdo con la invención, el dispositivo comprende: una cámara de distribución anular (8) que rodea al cilindro (3) del horno, está asegurada a dicho cilindro (3) y suministra al primer canal (50) con aire, los medios de ventilación comprenden por lo menos un ventilador (9) y un motor eléctrico que acciona dicho por lo menos un ventilador (9), dichos medios de ventilación están instalados en el cilindro de metal (3) del horno, montados giratoriamente con el mismo, y suministran a la cámara de distribución (8) en una manera hermética al aire, y conectores eléctricos giratorios (10, 11), que permiten el suministro de electricidad al/a los motor(es) eléctrico(s) de los medios de ventilación.
