Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una composición resistente a las llamas, un compuesto de poliuretano reforzado con fibra resistente a las llamas que comprende una composición resistente a las llamas y al uso de las mismas. En particular, la presente invención describe una composición que forma un compuesto de poliuretano resistente a las llamas y un compuesto de poliuretano reforzado con fibra, modificado por combustión, que comprenden la composición que forma un compuesto de poliuretano resistente a las llamas, para aplicaciones en vehículos y para productos de construcción. La presente invención también describe un proceso de moldeo por inyección de fibra larga para la preparación del compuesto de poliuretano reforzado con fibra, modificado por combustión. El compuesto de poliuretano reforzado con fibra de la presente invención, muestra un comportamiento de reacción al fuego mejorado, medido como el Índice de Oxígeno Limitado (LOD), y una producción de humo reducida.
