Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una planta transgénica, caracterizada porque comprende un ADN que codifica una proteína insecticida Cry1C que comprende una secuencia de aminoácidos de acuerdo con la SEQ ID NO: 2 y variantes de la misma, un ADN que codifica una proteína insecticida Cry1Ab que comprende una secuencia de aminoácidos de acuerdo con la SEQ ID NO: 3 y variantes de la misma, y yo sea un ADN que codifica una proteína insecticida Cry1Fa1 que comprende una secuencia de aminoácidos de acuerdo con la SEQ ID NO: 4 y variantes de la misma o un ADN que codifica una proteína insecticida Cry1Fa2 que comprende una secuencia de aminoácidos de acuerdo con la SEQ ID NO: 5 y variantes de la misma, en donde las variantes comprenden una secuencia de aminoácidos que tienen más de 90% de homología de secuencia de aminoácidos con la secuencia de aminoácidos de acuerdo con la SEQ ID NO:2, 3, 4 Y 5, respectivamente y tienen la misma actividad insecticida que las proteínas respectivas.
