Abstract
Un corte de combustible durante la desaceleración se ejecuta en el punto de tiempo t1. Una cantidad (rOS) de almacenamiento de oxígeno que incrementa con este corte de combustible se estima con base en una relación de combustible- aire de escape y una cantidad de aire de admisión. Aunque se ejecuta una recuperación de combustible en el punto de tiempo t4, una temperatura de combustión se reduce debido a la reducción de la relación de compresión mecánica, de modo que se suprime una producción de NOx en una cámara de combustión. Por consiguiente, se suprime el empeoramiento del NOx incluso si la cantidad (rOS) de almacenamiento de oxígeno del catalizador (4) de purificación de emisiones de escape es excesiva.
