Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un producto comestible a base de gel de tamaño de una sola porción, caracterizado porque comprende: lactato de calcio, citrato de trisodio, dextrina, y por lo menos dos gomas seleccionadas del grupo que consiste de carragenano, goma de algarroba, goma de xantano y goma de gelano; en donde la composición a base de gel de tamaño de una sola porción es de 0.5 oz a 2 oz; y en donde la composición a base de gel es un sólido, que es fácilmente consumido directamente del paquete sin la necesidad de un utensilio, y la composición a base de gel permanece firme a una temperatura ambiente y hasta una temperatura de 51.66°C (125°F), en donde la composición a base de gel de tamaño de una sola porción suministra a un consumidor con cafeína, taurina, y vitaminas B3, B5, B6 y B12.
