Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a mejoras en circuito de excitación para una celda de representación electrcrómica que tiene al menos un segmento y un electrodo común, el cual consiste en: circuito descifrador para proporcionar una señal de escritura de mando y una señal de borrado de mando; una fuente de señal alternante para proporcionar al electrodo común una señal alternante que tiene un nivel de señal de escritura y un nivel de señal de borrado; caracterizado por: un circuito de conmutación acoplado con el circuito descifrador y con la fuente de señal alternante y controlados por el nivel de la señal de escritura y la señal de escritura de mando para proporcionar un voltaje al segmento en coincidencia con el nivel de señal de escritura que se aplica al electrodo común para proporcionar un potencial de escritura a través del electrodo común y el segmento, de modo que el circuito de conmutación también se controla por medio del nivel de señal de borrado y la señal de borrado de mando para proporcionar un voltaje al segmento en coincidencia con el nivel de la señal de borrado que se aplica al electrodo común para proporcionar un potencial de borrado a través del electrodo común y el segmento.
