Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento para preparar un alfa-aminoácido, caracterizado porque consiste en hacer reaccionar el derivado de N-carbamoil del aminoácido deseado, o una sal del mismo derivado, con un agente de oxidación en presencia de una resina de intercambio iónico que contiene un grupo ácido, la cantidad de reactivos es tal que el agente de oxidación está en una proporción de 1,0-1,5 equivalentes por mol de derivado de carbamoil, a una temperatura de reacción comprendida entre 0 y 40°C, caracterizado por que el agente de oxidación es ácido nitroso o una sal del mismo.
