Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento para preparar un recubrimiento aislante para aceros silícicos como acero al silicio dotado con una capa de vidrio con una capa de silicato de magnesio, caracterizado por los pasos de aplicar al acero una solución recubridora que contiene una concentración de Al+++, Mg++ y H2PO4- en la siguiente relación relativa sobre una base anhidra: de 0 a 25 por ciento en peso de Al+++, calculado como Al2O3, de 3 a 15 por ciento en peso de Mg++ calculado como MgO y 78 a 87 por ciento en peso de H2PO4- calculado como H3PO4, siendo el peso, porcentaje en peso total de Al+++ (como Al2O3), Mg++ (como MgO ) y H2PO4 ( como H3PO4) de 10 por ciento sobre una base anhidra, comprendiendo la concentración de Al+++, Mg++ y H2PO4- de 100 partes en peso calculado como Al2O3, MgO y H3PO4 o respectivamente, en una base anhidra, y de 0 a 150 partes en peso de sílice coloidal en una base anhidra, siendo, por lo menos, un 45 por ciento en peso de la solución recubridora, y secar el acero recubierto por un tratamiento térmico de aire a una temperatura de 370°C a 870°C.
