Abstract

Procédé pour fabriquer des objets résistant aux fortes températures. On immerge un matériau ligneux dans une solution aqueuse d'acide borique ou d'un sel par exemple le chlorure de sodium; on procède au séchage; on imprègne le matériau ligneux de silicate notamment de soude; on enrobe le matériau ligneux traité et imprégné d'un mélange minéralisant pulvérulent de Kaolin, silice et ciment fondu comportant au moins 14 % en poids de ciment fondu, le taux d'humidité du matériau ligneux traité et imprégné de silicate, avant enrobage par le mélange minéralisant de Kaolin, silice et ciment fondu étant compris entre environ 42 % et 58 % du poids du produit enrobé; on laisse s'effectuer la prise du produit à la température ambiante puis l'on sèche jusqu'à siccité complète à une température inférieure à 100 degrés C. Application notamment à l'obtention de plaques continues ou d'objets moulés.
