Abstract

La unidad de torrefacción (1) comprende al menos un horno de soleras múltiples (2) que se calienta mediante un fluido de transferencia de calor (16) que comprende agua caliente extraída de un espacio de agua (21) de un tambor de vapor (11). El fluido de transferencia de calor (16) es conducido a través de un circuito de agua (20) hasta un sistema de calentamiento (19) del al menos un horno de soleras múltiples (2). Esto significa que el horno de soleras múltiples (2) se calienta hasta una temperatura de torrefacción indirectamente mediante el uso de agua caliente como fluido de transferencia de calor (16). El reactor de oxidación parcial (23) y la temperatura del fluido de transferencia de calor (16) se pueden controlar independientemente permitiendo un único reactor de oxidación parcial (23) para al menos dos hornos de soleras múltiples (2).
