Se proporciona un método simple para producir un compuesto de aminoácido que contiene heterociclo; un compuesto de aminoácido que contiene heterociclo es producido por un método que comprende el paso A de hacer reaccionar un compuesto representado por la siguiente fórmula (2) o una sal del mismo: (ver Fórmula) en donde R4 es un átomo de hidrógeno o un grupo carboxilo-protector, y n es un entero de 1 a 3, acroleina, un agente cianante, y un compuesto representado por la siguiente fórmula (3) o una sal del mismo: (ver Fórmula) en donde R1a es un átomo de hidrogeno o CO2R1b, R1b es un átomo de hidrogeno o un grupo carboxilo-protector, R2a es un átomo de hidrogeno o OR2b, R2b es un átomo de hidrogeno o un grupo hidroxilo-protector, y R3 es un átomo de hidrogeno o un grupo amino-protector.
