Abstract

Se divulga un método de purificación de fluido de acetilación utilizado recuperado de un proceso de acetilación de madera. El método consiste en someter el fluido de acetilación recuperado a cristalización por enfriamiento. Mediante este método se eliminan las impurezas de terpenos y terpenoides, así como otras impurezas. Se divulga también un método de acetilación de la madera que da como resultado madera acetilada y fluido de acetilación utilizado que comprende ácido acético y que purifica el fluido de acetilación utilizado mediante cristalización por enfriamiento.
