Abstract

Se proporciona un alambre de acero que tiene una excelente capacidad de trabajabilidad de bobinado en frío, y que tiene un excelente límite de fatiga cuando se hace en un resorte. Una composición química del alambre de acero de conformidad con la presente modalidad que contiene, en % en masa, C: 0.50 a 0.80%, Si: 1.20 a menos de 2.50%, Mn: 0.25 a 1.00%, P: 0.020% o menos, S: 0.020% o menos, Cr: 0.40 a 1.90%, V: 0.05 a 0.60%, y N: 0.0100% o menos, siendo el resto Fe e impurezas. En el alambre de acero, la densidad numérica de los precipitados a base de V con un diámetro máximo de 2 a 10 nm es de 5000 a 80000 piezas/µm3.
