Abstract
Un lente oftálmico que comprende un lente base configurado para dirigir la luz a un primer plano de imagen; y una pluralidad de celdas de modulación de la luz. Una o más de la pluralidad de celdas de modulación de la luz refractan la luz a un segundo plano de imagen diferente del primer plano de imagen y/o una o más de una pluralidad de celdas de modulación de la luz refractan la luz a un tercer plano de imagen diferente del primer y segundo planos de imagen. En algunas modalidades, al menos una de la pluralidad de celdas de modulación de la luz está configurada para refractar la luz a al menos dos (por ejemplo, 2, 3 o 4) planos de imagen, diferentes del primer plano de imagen.
