Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con una composición acuosa de tratamiento posterior para proporcionar una capa de tratamiento posterior sobre al menos una parte de una capa de pasivación, la cual está cubriendo al menos parte de una capa de zinc que se encuentra sobre al menos parte de un sustrato que contiene hierro, caracterizada porque la composición acuosa de tratamiento posterior comprende al menos una fuente de ion de cromo (III) y al menos un compuesto que contiene el elemento químico silicio; donde la relación molar de silicio contra cromo es dado en la composición, con la condición de que la relación molar esté en el intervalo de 2600:1 a 1:1 para la capa de zinc obtenida por un proceso de deposición de zinc ácido electrolítico; o que la relación molar fluctué de 5200:1 a 1:1 para la capa de zinc obtenida por un proceso de deposición de zinc alcalino electrolítico.
