Abstract
Se proporciona un decodificador para decodificar un cuadro para reconstruir una porción de señal de una señal. La porción de señal se codifica dentro del cuadro, en donde el cuadro comprende una carga útil de flujo de bits y dos o más bits de redundancia, en donde la carga útil de flujo de bits comprende una pluralidad de bits de carga útil, en donde cada uno de los bits de carga útil exhibe una posición dentro de la carga útil de flujo de bits. El decodificador (100) comprende un módulo de decodificación de canal (110), que se configura para detectar, dependiendo de los dos o más bits de redundancia, si la carga útil de flujo de bits comprende uno o más bits dañados que son uno o más de los bits de carga útil que se distorsionan o que es probable que se distorsionen. Además, el decodificador (100) comprende un módulo de decodificación de fuente (120). Si el módulo de decodificación de canal (110) no ha detectado ningún bit dañado dentro de la carga útil de flujo de bits, el módulo de decodificación de fuente (120) se configura para decodificar la carga útil de flujo de bits sin realizar ocultación de errores para reconstruir la porción de señal. Si el módulo de decodificación de canal (110) ha detectado uno o más bits dañados dentro de la carga útil de flujo de bits, el módulo de decodificación de fuente (120) se configura para seleccionar un modo de ocultación de errores seleccionado de dos o más modos de ocultación de errores dependiendo de la posición de al menos uno de uno o más bits dañados dentro de la carga útil de flujo de bits y dependiendo de una característica de señal de la porción de señal de la señal, y se configura para realizar ocultación de errores dependiendo del modo de ocultación de errores seleccionado para reconstruir la porción de señal.
