Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un polímero de uretano de poliéster que contiene grupos isocianato y que es líquido a temperatura ambiente, obtenido por reacción de al menos un diisocianato monomérico y un diol de poliéster basado en ácido graso dimérico que tiene un índice de OH que varía entre 28 y 120 mg KOH/g en una relación NCO/OH de al menos 3/1, y mediante la eliminación posterior de una gran parte del diisocianato monomérico por medio de un proceso de separación adecuado, caracterizado porque dicho polímero tiene un contenido de NCO en el intervalo de 1.5 y 6 % en peso, y un contenido máximo de diisocianato monomérico de 0.5 % en peso. La invención también se refiere al uso de dicho polímero como promotor de la adherencia y a composiciones de poliuretano curables por humedad que contienen dicho polímero. El polímero según la invención es fácil de usar. Permite la producción de composiciones de poliuretano curables por humedad para aplicar a temperatura ambiente, con propiedades mejoradas en términos de tiempo de trabajo, adherencia, aplicación y resistencia a la intemperie, con buenas propiedades inalteradas de estabilidad durante el almacenamiento, velocidad de curado, resistencia, ductilidad, elasticidad y clasificación de material peligroso. Las composiciones de este tipo son particularmente adecuadas para usar como adhesivos elásticos en cristales de repuesto para vehículos.
