Abstract

La invención se refiere a un proceso de fabricación para producir recipientes herméticos para alimentos de un solo uso, que incluye: formar un cuerpo de recipiente 3D que tiene un reborde superior periférico al estampar una preforma 2D en una prensa, la preforma 2D incluye una porción de reborde (11) y una porción de pared (12); aplicar una tapa de cierre sobre el cuerpo de recipiente 3D y sellar la tapa de cierre con el reborde. El proceso de fabricación se caracteriza porque comprende una etapa de plegado antes de formar el cuerpo de recipiente 3D, donde los pliegues (13) se forman en una zona periférica de la preforma 2D (10) al plegar o gofrar la preforma 2D con una placa de plegado o gofrado; por lo tanto, la zona periférica preplegada cubre al menos una parte de la porción de reborde (11) de la preforma 2D.
