Abstract

Un sistema y método para generar una solución de bacterias incubadas calentando una composición de germinante nutritivo y bacterias, que incluye al menos una especie en forma de esporas, a una temperatura preferida en un intervalo de 35-50°C durante 2-60 minutos usando calor de reacción química exotérmica. Una solución de bacterias incubadas se genera preferiblemente en o cerca de un punto de uso en una aplicación de acuicultura, agricultura, aguas residuales o recuperación ambiental. La composición de germinante nutritivo comprende L-aminoácidos, opcionalmente D-glucosa y/o D-fructosa, un amortiguador, un conservante industrial y puede incluir esporas bacterianas (preferiblemente de una o más especies de Bacillus) o se pueden combinar por separado para incubación. Un primer producto químico contenido en una bolsa se activa por contacto con un segundo producto químico, agua o aire en un calentador sin llama para iniciar una reacción exotérmica para proporcionar calor de incubación. Una bolsa de incubación portátil de un solo uso está configurada para contener el calentador sin llama y un recipiente de composición nutritiva de esporas.
