Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para la recuperación de plomo a partir de una torta de plomo electrolíticamente, en donde la torta contiene sulfato de plomo. El proceso prevé la lixiviación de la torta no desulfurada y la posterior eliminación de los sulfatos por precipitación; el lixiviado que contiene los iones de plomo se somete luego a electrólisis para la recuperación del plomo metálico. La presente invención se refiere además a un proceso para la recuperación de componentes de acumuladores de plomo, en donde el plomo contenido en la torta de los acumuladores se recupera de acuerdo con el proceso mencionado anteriormente.
