Abstract
La presente invención divulga proteínas Hla modificadas de Staphylococcus aureus que muestran una tendencia reducida a agregarse, mejorando la estabilidad y el rendimiento de la proteína. Dichas proteínas Hla modificadas opcionalmente también contienen secuencias de consenso del sitio de glicosilación. La invención también divulga un conjugado que comprende una proteína Hla modificada y un antígeno (por ejemplo, un antígeno sacárido de Staphylococcus aureus), en donde el antígeno está ligado a un residuo de aminoácido de la proteína Hla modificada.
