Abstract
En un aspecto, un proceso de reacción de hidroformilación comprende poner en contacto una olefina, hidrógeno y CO en presencia de un catalizador homogéneo en un reactor cilíndrico para proporcionar un fluido de reacción, en donde el reactor tiene una altura fija, y en donde una energía de mezcla total de al menos 0.5 kW/m3 se suministra al fluido en el reactor; remover una porción del fluido de reacción del reactor; y devolver al menos una porción del fluido de reacción removido al reactor, en donde el fluido de reacción devuelto se introduce en al menos dos ubicaciones de devolución ubicadas a una altura que es menor de 80% de la altura fija, en donde las al menos dos ubicaciones de devolución se ubican por encima de una ubicación en el reactor donde se introducen hidrógeno y monóxido de carbono en el reactor, y en donde el fluido de reacción devuelto proporciona al menos 15% de la energía de mezcla.
