Abstract
La invención se refiere a una composición de resina de matriz de poliuretano termoplástico, que comprende (i) al menos un compuesto de alcohol policíclico puenteado y/o condensado y/o espiro; (ii) al menos un poliisocianato; y (iii) al menos un diol, que es diferente del al menos un compuesto de alcohol policíclico puenteado y/o condensado y/o espiro (i). El al menos un compuesto de alcohol policíclico puenteado y/o condensado y/o espiro (i) está presente en la composición de resina de matriz de poliuretano termoplástico en una cantidad de al menos 10 % en peso, preferiblemente al menos 20 % en peso, más preferiblemente al menos 25 % en peso. Además, la presente invención se refiere a un material compuesto reforzado con fibras que comprende una matriz de polímero de poliuretano termoplástico curado de acuerdo con la presente invención y un material de fibra. Además, se describe un método para la manufactura del material compuesto reforzado con fibras de acuerdo con la presente invención y al uso de la composición del material compuesto reforzado con fibras en vehículos ferroviarios, vehículos automotrices, vehículos de aviación, botes, vehículos del espacio, motocicletas, bicicletas, artículos deportivos, por ejemplo, tablas de snowboard, raquetas, palos de golf, cañas de pescar, bates de béisbol, palos de hockey, flechas, arcos de tiro con arco, tablas de surf, y jabalinas, aparatos de gimnasia, carcasas de teléfonos móviles y portátiles, cascos, ropa funcional, zapatos, piezas de construcción de puentes y edificios o aspas de turbinas.
