Abstract

Se provee un aparato de monitoreo de soldadura que monitorea un estado de soldadura de una región de convergencia en V en la que una lámina de metal en forma de tira converge en forma de V, cuando la lámina de metal se forma cilíndricamente mientras es transportada, y ambos bordes laterales de la lámina de metal se calientan y se funden de manera que se unan entre sí mientras convergen en la forma de V, de modo que se fabrica un tubo de acero soldado por resistencia eléctrica. Este aparato de monitoreo de soldadura incluye una unidad de captura de imágenes que captura imágenes de una región que incluye la región de convergencia en V en series de tiempo; y una unidad de procesamiento de imágenes que extrae un punto de soldadura con base en las imágenes capturadas en series de tiempo y detecta la presencia o ausencia y una posición de arco irregular en el punto de soldadura o en un lado corriente arriba del punto de soldadura.
