Abstract
La invención se refiere a la preparación de un polímero aniónico soluble en agua, cuya masa molecular promedio en peso es de 1,000 a 10,000 g/mol y el índice de polidispersidad Ip, es inferior a 3.5. El polímero de conformidad con la invención se obtiene mediante una reacción de polimerización en agua de un monómero aniónico insaturado, en presencia de CuI o de CII y de un compuesto aromático que comprende un grupo funcional elegido entre hidroxilo, amina primaria, amina secundaria y amina terciaria, enlazado directamente al anillo aromático. La invención también se refiere a una composición acuosa que comprende el polímero de conformidad con la invención.
