Abstract
Se describen un método para cultivar células progenitoras pancreáticas derivadas a partir de células madre pluripotentes, el método comprende el paso (a) de cultivar tridimensionalmente células progenitoras pancreáticas derivadas a partir de células madre pluripotentes en un medio que contiene un factor perteneciente a la familia de factor de crecimiento epidérmico (EGF) y/o un factor perteneciente a la familia de factor de crecimiento de fibroblastos (FGF) y (2) un agonista de Wnt; un método para producir células de islote a partir de células progenitoras pancreáticas derivadas a partir de células madre pluripotentes, el método comprende el paso (E) de inducir la diferenciación de células progenitoras pancreáticas cultivadas mediante el método anterior en células de islote; y un método para crioconservar células progenitoras pancreáticas derivadas a partir de células madre pluripotentes, el método que comprende el paso (F) de congelar células progenitoras pancreáticas cultivadas por el método anterior.
