Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con un proceso para la preparación de un polímero elastomérico, que comprende las etapas (i) de proporcionar y (ii) polimerizar por lo menos un monómero de dieno conjugado y, opcionalmente, uno o más monómeros de vinilo aromático en presencia de un iniciador de polimerización de acuerdo con la Fórmula 1, para proporcionar una cadena polimérica viva. La presente invención también se relaciona con polímeros elastoméricos que se pueden obtener de acuerdo con el proceso anterior. En aún otra modalidad, la presente invención se relaciona con una composición que comprende el polímero elastomérico y, opcionalmente, otros constituyentes, tales como aceite, rellenador y/o un agente de vulcanización. La invención se relaciona además con un proceso para la preparación de un polímero elastomérico reticulado que comprende la etapa de adicionar un agente de vulcanización al polímero elastomérico. Además, se describen polímeros elastoméricos reticulados así obtenidos, así como artículos y composiciones que comprenden el polímero elastomérico, el polímero elastomérico reticulado o ambos. La presente invención se relaciona además con un iniciador de polimerización que es útil en el proceso para la preparación del polímero elastomérico descrito en la presente.
