Abstract
Se describen métodos para producir un gas tratado al remover los compuestos nitrogenados. Se describen métodos para recuperar amoniaco de una corriente de gas que tiene compuestos nitrogenados. Se describen métodos para producir un producto fertilizante a partir de desecho orgánico. Los métodos pueden incluir introducir ácido sulfuroso en una corriente de gas que tiene compuestos nitrogenados para absorber los compuestos nitrogenados en un líquido y producir un gas tratado. Los métodos también pueden incluir mantener el pH de ciertas soluciones arriba de 5 o introducir un oxidante en ciertas soluciones para producir iones de sulfato. También se describen sistemas para remover compuestos nitrogenados que incluyen un subsistema de reacción, un separador sólidos-líquido, un subsistema de control de temperatura, un subsistema de control de oxidación, y una línea de recirculación.
