Abstract
La presente divulgación se refiere a un novedoso material carbonoso con superficie modificada con nanopartículas unidas a la superficie de dicho material. El material carbonoso es, por ejemplo, grafito natural o sintético, y las nanopartículas están, por ejemplo, en forma de polímeros de plasma generados en un reactor de plasma. La presente divulgación se refiere también a los procesos para preparar dicho material carbonoso y a aplicaciones para el mismo, tales como un material activo para electrodos negativos en baterías de iones de litio. Se encontró que la deposición de las nanopartículas en la superficie del material carbonoso conduce a mejoras importantes en términos de su fluidez y aumenta la densidad aparente y/o de impacto del material resultante.
