Abstract

La invención se relaciona con una guía de luz (2) que incluye un cuerpo transparente (4) que es generalmente alargado en una dirección principal, una faceta exterior (12) que forma una dioptría con el entorno de dicho cuerpo, una primera fila (16) de facetas anguladas (20) capaces de reflejar los rayos para que éstos salgan, y al menos una segunda fila (14, 18) de facetas reflejantes (24) que son más pequeñas que las facetas reflejantes correspondientes (20) de la primera fila (16); la luz reflejada por medio de la una o más segundas filas complementa el haz de luz de la primera fila; los anchos de la primera fila y las segundas filas se pueden incrementar o disminuir gradualmente, respectivamente, mientras la distancia desde la fuente de luz se incrementa para compensar las pérdidas graduales de luz que pasa a través de la guía de luz.
