Abstract
Se proporcionan métodos para tratar cáncer utilizando administración local de ciertos oligonucleótidos de CpG (CpG ODN) y administración sistémica de un inhibidor de punto de verificación como por ejemplo el anticuerpo anti-PD-1, un anticuerpo anti-PD-L1 y/o un anticuerpo anti-CTLA-4. En modalidades preferidas, el CpG ODN se selecciona en base en su susceptibilidad de inducir altas cantidades de interferón alfa (IFN-a) y activación de linfocitos T en relación a interleucina-10 (IL-10) y activación de linfocitos B. En ciertas modalidades, los métodos incluyen además tratamiento previo con radioterapia para potenciar la inmunoterapia de combinación.
