Abstract

Un adhesivo termofusible compuesto de un polímero estireno-butadieno-estireno que tiene un contenido de dibloque y contenido de estireno relativamente alto, un segundo copolímero de bloque estirénico que tiene un contenido menor de dibloque que el polímero estireno-butadieno-estireno, que es preferentemente un polímero estireno-isopreno-estireno, junto con resina taquificante, y plastificante líquido. El polímero estireno-butadieno-estireno preferido contiene un contenido de estireno mayor del 30 por ciento y un contenido de dibloque mayor al 30 por ciento en peso. Cuando se utiliza en conjunto con un polímero estireno-isopreno-estireno, la composición termofusible proporciona una fuerza de desprendimiento mejorada a 5ºC y cuando se usa como un adhesivo de posicionamiento de unión a toalla, no presenta transferencia de adhesivo a 40ºC.
