Abstract

La preparación combinada, catalizada de manera heterogénea de buteno y octeno a partir de eteno, comprende llevar a cabo de manera simultánea dos reacciones, a saber, una primera reacción de C2 para formar C4 y una segunda reacción de C2 y C6 para formar C8. Las dos reacciones se llevan a cabo físicamente de manera separada una de la otra y en la presencia de un solvente inerte, cuyo punto de ebullición está entre aquél de los butenos y aquél de los octenos. El hexeno formado como subproducto en la primera síntesis se utiliza como materia prima para la segunda síntesis. Ahí, reacciona con el eteno para formar octeno. El solvente se hace circular de manera continua. Esto hace posible llevar a cabo ambas síntesis en la fase líquida y controlar su selectividad. Puesto que el punto de ebullición del solvente corresponde esencialmente con aquél del subproducto hexeno, el subproducto puede separarse junto con el solvente como una fracción intermedia de la caldera de la primera mezcla de reacción y transferirse a la segunda reacción.
