Abstract

La invención se refiere al uso de polímeros molecularmente impresos o MIPs, de molécula olorosa, como agente desodorante, en particular, para atrapar selectivamente moléculas que son la causa del olor corporal humano. Más particularmente mediante el uso de MIPs que se pueden obtener a través de polimerización, preferiblemente a través de polimerización por radicales, de una mezcla de: i) opcionalmente uno o más iniciadores de polimerización; ii) uno o más monómeros funcionales; iii) uno o más agentes de reticulación; y iv) uno o más solventes porogénicos; es entendido que la polimerización a) o b) se lleva a cabo en la presencia v) de una o más "plantillas" de moléculas objetivo responsables de olor corporal humano. Otro objeto de la invención se refiere a un proceso para la preparación de MIPs como se definió anteriormente, los MIPS obtenidos a través de este proceso, y una composición cosmética que comprende por lo menos un MIP como se definió anteriormente. Inesperadamente, parece que los MIPs hacen posible atrapar específicamente precursores de moléculas olorosas y las moléculas olorosas que pueden ser utilizadas en formulaciones cosméticas, especialmente aquellas que son la causa del olor desagradable del sudor.
