Abstract

Se describe un proceso y sistema para separar butenos y butanos por destilación extractiva utilizando un solvente polar. El proceso puede incluir: poner en contacto una mezcla de hidrocarburos que incluye butanos y butenos con una mezcla de solvente pobre en una columna de destilación extractiva para formar una fracción de solvente enriquecido que comprende butenos; recuperar una fracción de destilado que comprende butanos y una fracción de producto de fondo de la columna de destilación extractiva; alimentar la fracción de producto de fondo a un separador que incluye una sección de separación y una sección de lavado; recuperar la mezcla del solvente pobre como una fracción de producto de fondo y una fracción de destilado de separador que comprende butenos y agua del separador; condensar la fracción de destilado para formar una fracción de agua y una fracción de producto de butenos; alimentar agua como reflujo a una parte superior de la sección de lavado del separador; alimentar al menos una porción de la fracción intermedia de agua condensada a la parte superior y a la parte inferior de la sección de lavado de separador como un segundo reflujo.
