Abstract
Un sistema de calefacción auxiliar para un vehículo interactúa con un controlador de encendido que tiene un estado de Funcionamiento en el cual un motor del vehículo está funcionando y un estado de Apagado en el cual el motor no está funcionando. Un calefactor auxiliar tiene un modo de Estacionamiento para calefaccionar una cabina de pasajeros del vehículo cuando el controlador de encendido está en el estado de Apagado. Un controlador de calefactor auxiliar tiene una configuración configurable por un usuario para ingresar de manera selectiva al modo de Estacionamiento cuando el controlador de encendido ingresa al estado de Apagado. Una interfaz manual responde a un usuario para proporcionar órdenes de usuario al controlador de calefactor auxiliar, con inclusión de órdenes de configuración durante el estado de Funcionamiento para determinar la configuración configurable por el usuario y una orden de cancelación durante el estado de Apagado para terminar el modo de Estacionamiento.
