Abstract

La presente invención proporciona una composición de la mezcla de poliolefinas adecuada para el recubrimiento por extrusión o aplicaciones de laminación por extrusión, y la estructura de múltiples capas y artículos hechos del mismo. La composición de mezcla de poliolefinas adecuada para aplicaciones de recubrimiento por extrusión o laminación por extrusión según la presente invención comprende (a) una composición de polietileno lineal de baja densidad que comprende: menos de o igual a 100 por ciento en peso de las unidades derivadas de etileno; menos de 35 por ciento en peso de unidades derivadas de uno o más comonómeros de a-olefina; en el que dicha composición de polietileno tiene una densidad en el intervalo de 0.890 a 0.940 glcm3, una distribución de peso molecular (Mw/Mn) en el intervalo de 2.5 a 4.5, un índice de fusión (I2) en el intervalo de 4 a 30 g/10 minutos, una distribución de peso molecular (Mz/Mw) en el intervalo de 2.0 a 3, insaturación de vinilo de menos de 0.1 vinilos por cada mil átomos de carbono presentes en la cadena principal de dicha composición, y una relación de viscosidad de cizallamiento cero (ZSVR) en el intervalo de 1 a 1.2; y (b) menos de 50 por ciento en peso de una composición de polietileno de baja densidad que tiene una densidad en el intervalo de 0.915 a 0.930 g/cm3, un índice de fusión (I2) en el intervalo de 0.1 a 10 g/10 minutos, y una distribución de peso molecular (Mw/Mn) en el rango de 6 a 15.
