Abstract
La invención se refiere a un dispositivo (1) y un método para medir la humedad en moldes de fundición a presión (24), cuya cavidad (25) está conectada a través de un conducto de evacuación (31) a un dispositivo de evacuación (28). El ensamble modular del dispositivo (1) es conectable al conducto de evacuación (31) y comprende un ensamble de sensor (S) por medio del cual se puede medir la humedad de los gases evacuados de la cavidad del molde (25). El ensamble de sensor (S) comprende un emisor (7) que emite radiación electromagnética y un detector (14) que detecta la radiación electromagnética. Con base en los valores medidos obtenidos durante la acción de evacuación, se puede determinar si la cantidad de una mezcla de agentes de liberación/agua inyectada a presión en la cavidad del molde (25) tiene que modificarse antes de la acción real de fundición. (Figuras 1 y 2).
