Abstract
Se describe un método de calentamiento directo por resistencia que incluye colocar un primer electrodo y de un segundo electrodo en una pieza de trabajo en forma de placa de tal manera que el primer electrodo y el segundo electrodo se extiendan a través de la pieza de trabajo en una dirección sustancialmente perpendicular a una línea central de una región de calentamiento específica de la pieza de trabajo, la línea central conecta a una porción media de un lado de la región de calentamiento específica y a una porción media del otro lado de la región de calentamiento específica; y mover por lo menos uno del primer electrodo y del segundo electrodo a lo largo de la línea central mientras se aplica la corriente eléctrica entre el primer electrodo y el segundo electrodo.
