Abstract
La presente invención provee un proceso mejorado de coquificación de petróleo en donde se reduce el riesgo de envenenamiento con silicona de las unidades que se encuentran corriente debajo de los tambores de coque. El método de la presente invención controla la capa de espuma en el tambor de coque mediante la inyección de un agente anti-espumante de silicona en un fluido portador altamente aromático tal como aceite de lodos.
