Abstract

La presente invención está relacionada con la síntesis de compuestos básicos, con la preparación de composiciones y con su aplicación como inhibidores de corrosión para oleoductos que transportan, además del petróleo crudo, agua congénita asociada que contiene altas concentraciones de sales, los inhibidores están constituidos básicamente por compuestos de familias de estructuras moleculares tales como; líquidos iónicos, imidazoles y benzotriazoles; dichas formulaciones pueden incluir 2 ó más integrantes de cada familia y utilizar como solvente alcoholes, xileno, tolueno o mezclas de todos estos. Los inhibidores objeto de la presente invención controlan la corrosión de las superficies metálicas de los oleoductos que contienen concentraciones de agua congénita desde 0.2 y hasta 40% en peso, concentraciones de sales entre 10,000 y 70,000 ppm y concentraciones de sulfuro de hidrógeno entre 0 y 600 ppm, mediante el efecto sinérgico entre 2 ó más componentes de una misma familia, o de 2 ó más familias diferentes de estructuras moleculares, esta sinergia se deriva de sus interacciones con la superficie metálica, con ellas mismas o con el propio medio corrosivo debido a sus propiedades químicas, físicas y de transporte en función del largo de cadena involucrado; lo que mejora el control de la corrosión logrando la disminución de la dosificación de las formulaciones de manera simultánea. Mientras que, las formulaciones ternarias utilizan un componente de cada una de las tres familias o 2 componentes de una misma familia y un tercer componente perteneciente a una segunda familia de moléculas. En todos los caso, las formulaciones pueden incluir como solventes xileno, metanol y tolueno, ó bien una mezcla de dos o tres de ellos. La aplicación de estos compuestos y formulaciones está enfocada, pero no se limita, a su uso como inhibidores de corrosión en ambientes típicos del transporte de petróleo crudo y de la industria del petróleo en general.
