Abstract

La presente se refiere a una composición que resulta adecuada para el uso como un inhibidor de corrosión para evitar la corrosión, particularmente, en dispositivos metálicos para la recuperación y el transporte de hidrocarburos en la producción y el procesamiento del petróleo. En particular, la presente se refiere a composiciones de amonio cuaternario, las que -según se determinó- son efectivas como inhibidores de la corrosión. La presente también se refiere a métodos de preparación y uso de las composiciones y métodos para inhibir o evitar la corrosión de superficies metálicas usando dichas composiciones, particularmente, en aplicaciones en el campo del petróleo y del gas.
