Abstract

Se proporcionan sistemas y métodos para fraccionar vinaza entera a partir de la instalación de producción de etanol. La vinaza entera experimenta una separación de su porción líquida (vinaza fina a partir de la porción sólida (torta de fibra). En algunas modalidades, los sólidos y líquidos en vinaza entera pueden ser separados utilizando una centrifuga de cribado. La torta de fibra puede ser secada para generar un alimento animal alto en fibra. La vinaza fina puede ser provista a un separador de tres fases para separación en una emulsión de aceite, una vinaza clarificada acuosa, y una pasta de proteína. La pasta de proteína puede ser secada para generar un alimento animal alto en proteína con más de aproximadamente 45% de contenido de proteína. La vinaza fina clarificada es condensada para producir un jarbe con más de alrededor de 60% de sólidos. La emulsión de aceite es sometida a un ajuste de pH para liberar el aceite a partir de la emulsión, la cual es separada entonces.
