Abstract

Un dispositivo de ensayo (1) para determinar la presencia y/o la cantidad de un analito presente o potencialmente presente en una muestra líquida comprende: (i) un tubo capilar (2) que tiene una región corriente arriba (3) en la cual se introduce la muestra a ensayar para su transferencia por acción capilar a lo largo del tubo capilar a una región corriente abajo del mismo; (ii) un conjunto de primeros participantes de unión (5) inmovilizados dentro del tubo capilar (2), en que dichos primeros participantes de unión (5) son capaces de unirse específicamente al aflauto; (iii) un conjunto de segundos participantes de unión (6) unidos desplazablemente a una fracción de dichos primeros participantes de unión (5), con lo cual hay primeros participantes de unión (5) libres, inmovilizados dentro del tubo capilar, dichos segundos participantes de unión (6) tienen una etiqueta y son desplazables a partir de los primeros participantes de unión (5) por el analito a detectar; y (iv) un región de detección está adaptada para generar una señal detectable de la etiqueta en los segundos participantes de unión (6) que se han transferido a la región corriente abajo.
