Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo de prueba para determinar la presencia y/o cantidad de un analito de ácido nucleico objetivo presente o potencialmente presente en una muestra del líquido, el dispositivo caracterizado porque comprende (i) un tubo capilar que tiene una región corriente arriba en la que la muestra a analizar se introduce para transferencia por acción capilar a lo largo del tubo capilar hasta una región corriente abajo del mismo; (ii) una colección de primeros socios de unión que comprende secuencias de ácidos nucleicos inmovilizados dentro del tubo capilar, dichos primero socios de unión siendo capaces de unirse específicamente al analito; (iii) una colección de segundos socios de unión que comprenden secuencias de ácido nucleicos desplazablemente hibridados a una fracción de dichos primeros socios de unión tienen dichos segundo socios de unión unidos a los mismos, por lo cual hay primeros socios de unión libres inmovilizados dentro del tubo capilar, dichos segundos socios de unión tienen na marca y son desplazables de los rimero socios de unión por el analito que se va a detectar; y (iv) una región de detección para la muestra que se ha transferido a dicha región corriente debajo de dicho tubo capilar, dicha región de detección está adaptada para generar un señal detectable a partir de la marca sobre segundos socios de unión desplazados que se han transferido a la región corriente abajo.
