Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para la mejora de la producción de metionina mediante el cultivo de un microorganismo modificado para aumentar la expresión de genes implicados en la síntesis de succinato deshidrogenada; los microorganismos fueron modificados de tal modo que el rendimiento de metionina/fuente de carbono aumenta; también se reivindica el aislamiento de metionina del medio de fermentación.
