Abstract
Métodos y aparatos se divulgan en la presente para codificar texto legible por humanos transportando un mensaje no genético hacia secuencias de ácido nucleico con una probabilidad sustancialmente reducida de impacto biológico y decodificar tal texto a partir de secuencias de ácido nucleico. En una forma de realización, cada símbolo de un conjunto de manera única a un identificador de codón respectivo. Trazo de mapas puede asegurar que cada símbolo no trazará en mapa a un identificador de codón que genera un residuo de aminoácidos el cual tiene una abreviación de una sola letra que es el equivalente al símbolo respectivo. Secuencias de ácidos nucleicos sintético comprendiendo tal texto legible por humanos, y células recombinantes o sintéticas que comprende tales secuencias son provistas, así como métodos para identificar células, organismos, o muestras conteniendo tales secuencias.
